Passing on the walling skills…

With a big fanfare we’d like to introduce Jacques Crowther, who asked to do a winter of dry stone walling with Hywel. He wants to earn a living by the trade and had done a few months of walling previously. Jacques passed the rigorous interview procedure and now spends his days in the soaking Todmorden rain listening to Hywel rant about everything and nothing. Whether he lasts the season is anyone’s guess.

Jacques is quickly learning to wall to a really high standard and hopes to be ready for the DSWA Intermediate level certificate by the end of February. His hobbies include hitting things with a hammer and digging up trees with his bare hands.

Nice one Jacques!
